  • Yes. WAKE UP is formulated with gentle, naturally derived ingredients. The essential oil blend is kept below 1% to ensure its suitable for most skin types - including sensitive.

  • WAKE UP is formulated to be gentle and well-tolerated, although if you have sensitive or reactive skin, we recommend patch testing before first use.

    Apply a small amount to the inside of your arm and wait 24 hours to check for any signs of irritation.

  • Yes. WAKE UP contains Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, a stable, oil-soluble form of Vitamin C that layers well with most skincare. If you’re using other active ingredients (like retinol or exfoliating acids), we recommend applying WAKE UP in the morning and using other treatments at night to avoid overstimulation.

    It works beautifully on its own or layered under moisturiser and SPF and sits well beneath makeup with no pilling or greasiness.

  • WAKE UP contains essential oils in very low concentrations (under 1%). However, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Used daily, each 30ml format lasts approximately two months. A little goes a long way.

  • They both contain the exact same formula. The tube is travel-friendly and lightweight, while the glass bottle is refillable and ideal for your home ritual.

    Amazing Energising oil

    A great oil to start the morning. It has a lovely smell to awaken my senses. Once applied I leave to absorb for a few minutes before applying other skincare products, it can also be used alone. This oil has vitamins c which also brightens my skin.

    I received this product to test and review, in exchange for my honest opinion.

    Using the Botanical Matrix “Wake Up” Vitamin C Energising Oil in my morning routine.

    Lightweight but nourishing (perfect for my dry skin), it gives a soft, healthy-looking glow without feeling greasy. Just a few drops and my skin feels smoother and less dull.

    It contains botanical oils + vitamin C, making it an easy step when I want my skin to look a bit more fresh and awake. Inhaling the fragrance boosts my mood too.

    SPF is always a must in my morning routine, especially after Vitamin C products, so don't forget to apply ☀️

    Really enjoying this as part of my routine so far.

    Lovely aromatherapy skin care

    I recieved this to test and review from beautybuddy. The oil comes in two different formats, a plastic tube bottle or a glass pipette dispenser bottle. The glass bottle is very pretty and decorated, so looks stylish on the shelf. The pipette dispenser is also very easy to use, no mess.

    The oil is silky smooth. Just warm in hands and gently press into the skin. The vitamin c oil is also infused with aromatherapy; including lavender, rosemary, bergamot and peppermint oils. For me it is the peppermint oil when inhaled prior to applying the oil, really awakens the senses. This is a great added benefit to other products.

    It is lightweight, absorbs really quickly and is hydrating. It sits very well under other products and makeup. No heavy or clogging feeling.

    The vitamin c adds a radiance to skin, and as it is also hydrating, skin instantly looks more radiant. It helps my skin looking glowy, and reduce hyperpigmentation.

    Overall, a great vitamin c product, great facial oil, and my favourite part is the aromatherapy. It works well with the added pamper and luxurious feel.

    Beautiful 🧡

    This energising oil is so beautiful. They scent alone definitely lifts the senses. The glass bottle is beautifully designed and looks perfect on my dressing table. I live that it also comes in a tube form to pop in your bag so your set for anywhere!

    Sunshine in a bottle

    Botanical Matrix WAKE UP Vitamin C energising oil has become my new morning ritual.

    Breathing in that uplifting aroma of Bergamot, Rosemary, Lavender and Peppermint essential oils really gives this treatment a whole sensory "spa like" experience.

    I love anything natural and handmade in small batches, as I know that this has been made with love.

    And small batch skincare always tends to have better quality oils, in higher concentrations, and extracts that actually work with no cheap bulking agents or fillers.

    At the heart of this oil is Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate) an efficient oil soluble form that is better at penetrating the skin, less likely to cause a negative reaction and is more stabile, so has a much better shelf life!

    All these essential oils and vit c are suspended in a nourishing botanical formula of sea buckthorn, rosehip, jojoba, and squalane — no junk, no petrochemicals

    Absorbs quickly in seconds, leaves no greasy residues... and gives my skin a brightened, fresh faced youthful glow.

    *As always, remember to follow with SPF50 as vitamin C makes skin much more photosensitive.

    Amazing product!!
